Citizen and Group of the Year Awards recognize significant contributions to our City’s quality of life, both social and economic, made by private citizens. These awards increase public awareness of these contributions and give well deserved tribute.

A special cocktail event will be held at 5:30pm-7pm on 
Tuesday, February 4th at the Moose Jaw Events Centre (Founders Lounge)

The following are some guidelines of information you could include:
  • Focus on volunteer activities as opposed to work done as an employee
  • Volunteer hours involved; fund raising; unusual circumstances overcome
  • How the person/group contributed to the economic/social climate of the City
  • News articles (online or paper), testimonials and letters of reference
Unless specifically requested for, materials submitted with the nomination form will not be returned.
An anonymous Citizen & Group of the Year Awards Jury will review all nominees and select one winner of each category. Any information you provide will remain confidential.
