About Us

Moose Jaw & District Food Bank, embraces the global initiative in our local vision of ?Creating a healthy, hunger-free community with adequate, nutritious food that is accessible to all.? Our Food Bank was founded on October 23, 1984 as a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing a collection and redistribution system for surplus and donated food in the region. Today we serve over 1500 people each month, with 1 in 12
households in our community accessing our services during the year.
